Why Krated exists
For years, getting goods across the China–Nigeria corridor meant knowing somebody. You DM'd a vendor. You paid into a personal account. You watched a WhatsApp group fill up. You took it on faith that the goods would arrive and that the person you sent money to wouldn't disappear.
The model works — when it works. When it doesn't, there's no paper trail, no policy, no recourse. The good operators carry the weight of every bad one.
Whether you're buying a unit, stocking to resell, filling a container or exporting from Nigeria, we thought the answer wasn't to make trust smaller. It was to make it bigger and more legible. To put the proof on the page. To publish the refund SLA where everyone can see it. To make the shipment move in front of you. That's the product.
Who's behind it
Krated is run by a small Lagos team that works the corridor every day — no anonymous vendor DMs, no personal-account transfers. The team owns every shipment end to end, both directions.
On the ground: a NAGAFF-affiliated clearing broker handles every box that lands at Apapa. A Guangzhou-side QC partner inspects inbound shipments before they leave China. One coordinator stays close to every active shipment — named, with a real WhatsApp number.
Deliberately small. If the team can't make its first customers happy, it doesn't deserve the next ones.
What we promise
